PC Nonsense – ‘Racists’ aged Three!
Written by Administrator

alt

Politically correct schooling has plumbed new lows as it has emerged thousands of children have been branded 'racists'. Last year more than 20,000 pupils aged 11 or younger were put on record for so-called 'hate crimes.'

Teachers are now branding school children 'racist' or 'homophobic' for playground squabbles. Some of the children who have been reported to education authorities under these rules are nursery children as young as three years old!

These new frightening statistics raise the issue of just what some teachers' real priorities are. Our schools seem to have been transformed into political indoctrination camps where indentifying 'speech crimes' takes precedent over learning.

But let's take a moment to examine some of these 'hate crimes'. One youngster was accused of being racist for calling a boy 'broccoli head'. Another school child was said to be homophobic for telling a teacher 'this work is gay'. Two primary school children were reported for homophobia after quarrelling over a rubber and calling each other 'gay' and 'lesbian'.

In total, over 34,000 cases have now been logged with the pupils being written up as 'bigots'. Often the records are kept on file and are passed up from primary schools to secondary schools, following the pupils through their entire school career.

More worryingly though is the fact these 'crimes' are put on the child's permanent record. If schools are asked for a pupil reference by a future employer or a university, the record could be used as the basis for it, meaning the pettiest of incidents has the potential to blight a child for life.

Schools monitoring children in this way is frighteningly like George Orwell's nightmare vision of the future from his novel 1984 where surveillance of the public is the norm. Orwell's vision of the future is now a political reality as our children are spied on by their teachers and reported for their 'crimes'.

The English Democrats are appalled by these revelations. We have often spoken of the harm caused to our society by political correctness. We unreservedly condemn this intolerant creed, and reject the self-righteousness of political correctness and condemn the ideology as an evil.

The wickedness of political correctness has been exposed many times, but never in such a damning way. To monitor school children and for teachers to report on them like Stasi agents for playground arguments is a new low. It proves beyond a shadow of doubt that political correctness is incompatible with a free and democratic society.

The English Democrats pledge to carry out a review of all laws and regulations, and will amend or, where appropriate and if possible, completely repeal those laws and regulations that foster and promote political correctness.

A child's biggest worry should be what sweets they are going to to buy with their pocket money or whether they play on the swings or climb a tree. Children should not have to worry about their teachers spying on them and reporting them for 'speech crimes'.

Labour's Legacy

This policy was brought in by Labour in 2002. You can see that the Tories aren't actually bothered about political correctness as the policy has continued under them as well. All three of the main parties support this kind of rubbish, we need to vote them out before they totally erase our culture and brainwash our children.

A return to real education

According to Michael Gove, hundreds of schools given an "outstanding" rating by Ofsted are, in reality, nothing better than average.
If a school performs well in politically - correct subjects, focusing on the likes of "healthy pupil lifestyles" and "promotes equal opportunity" parents are being led to believe the school is first class, regardless of wether it is good at teaching children to read and write properly.
This is outrageous.[Note... seldom do the children of our ministers attend state schools. If they do[and it's a big if] you can be sure the private tutor is on hand for extra curricular tuition. Many children are leaving full time education without basic numerical, reading or writing skills. This is a situation that was unheard. Discipline in the classroom, respect for the teacher, and fertile minds eager to learn ensure healthy competitiveness and excellent results.
Our children are our future. Without a robust education system free from political interference and tinkering, we will sink even lower in the world ratings. The rot must stop now before it is too late.

Not in my Nursery School

I am a Forest School Leader and I co own and run a Nursery School in Surrey. We teach our children forestry and survival skills for fun, which includes climbing trees. We celebrate St Georges Day and St Edmunds day. In the summer term our 3 and 4 year olds learnt all about Beowulf and re-enacted it for a group of 40-50 parents and grandparents. We do try to work our way around the dafter PC legislation. We manage to do this in an acceptable way. Being a bloke in a Nursery setting was an issue for me at the start, but infact as an ex Army NCO I find the children a lot like raw recruits. They love my mannerisms and enjoy their army drill sessions. So I just thought Ide say that we are not all liberal fascists. In fact I dont know of too many in the teaching profession in my area. Attack the policies, not teachers.
