Hate Preacher wins Human Rights Payout

An extremist preacher who was banned from entering the UK and made a mockery of our border controls is now likely to pocket £5,000 in compensation because immigration officials could not speak his language.

On his arrival in the UK immigration officials had failed to inform him of the ban – and he was unaware that he should not travel here. He walked through immigration checks at Heathrow and set out on a speaking tour. He was detained three days later, but only after addressing meetings in London and Leicester.

When he was finally arrested immigration staff failed to explain to him 'in a language he could understand' precisely why he was being detained – a technical breach of the rules. The preacher cannot speak English and officials failed properly to translate what was happening, the court ruled.

As a result – even though the Home Secretary had legal powers to hold him – he was unlawfully detained for 34.5 hours, until proper explanations were given to him about what was happening in Arabic.

At one stage, an immigration officer had tried to use an 'app' on his iPhone to give instructions to the extremist. Salah can now formally apply for taxpayer-funded compensation. The likely pay-out is between £4,000 and £5,000 – or about £150 for every hour he was held. Salah has now been released on bail and is staying at a five-bedroom detached house in a leafy suburb in North London while his case is processed.

Despite being banned from even entering our country, this dangerous preacher of hate was allowed to swan through immigration checks and embark on spreading his message around our cities. When finally detained his human rights were 'violated'. He now looks set for a four figure payout, meanwhile he is now living in luxury in a five bedroom house in London.

The English Democrats believe in proper border controls and an end to mass immigration. The English Democrats are also completely opposed to the politically correct policy that has made the those breaking the law 'victims'.

This man should have been deported as soon as he was detained. To have human rights laws grant him a four figure payout because no one was on hand that could speak his language is disgusting. When many English families are living on the poverty line due to the downturn in the economy, to now have this man living in a five bedroom house is simply adding insult to injury.

If someone comes to England and cannot speak English, they should not be entitled to special treatment – let alone large payouts because a translator is not immediately available!

I am a UK expat now living in Spain and ever since we have been here we have, and still do, had to pay for our own translators for everything form Police reports, hopital visits and any legal requirement. So how come the people visiting the UK get it for free and then get compensation when it is not provided, I thought we were all part of the same European Community but obviously I am mistaken.

A person, who should NOT have gained entry into our country in the first place, is to be awarded a four figure sum because a translator wasn't available.
It's not the 1st.April is it?
